Who we are
Dr. Simon Joosse studied Medical Biology at the Faculty of Applied Science at the Inholland University of Alkmaar (The Netherlands). After his graduation in 2004 he worked at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), where he successfully completed the Master Course on Experimental Oncology. Dr. Joosse has performed his PhD research at the NKI with a main focus on translational breast cancer research. Since 2009, he is working as a scientist at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (Germany). His expertise is the statistical analysis of life science related data sets with a special focus on individualized solutions for every specific scientific question. Furthermore, Dr. Joosse is responsible for the webdesign and the development of individual online solutions and database management.
Dr. Juliane Hannemann studied Biology at the Universities of Heidelberg (Germany) and Uppsala (Sweden) with a special focus on Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology and Pharmacology. In 2001, she graduated at the University of Heidelberg and the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). Dr. Hannemann performed her PhD research at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) in Amsterdam (The Netherlands). From 2008 until 2011, she worked as a scientist at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. Since 2011, her major focus is the preparation and management of life science projects. Dr. Hannemann supervised bachelor, master, medical and PhD students in their theoretical and experimental education. She has given lectures and courses for academical students. Her major expertise is the Scientific Text Support and Job Application part.
